Another notable name is Janine Stoner from Bakersfield California who has been featured on multiple news outlets such as CNN and ABC News for her creative approach to running her business which includes alpacas, donkeys and of course goats. She’s also been successful enough to open up three permanent locations across California; something that not every new business owner can say they’ve achieved.
Then there is Maegan McCarthy from Amherst New York whose captivating courses have drawn fans from all over the world since 2017. People come to participate in group classes or even schedule private time with Maegan if they want an extra special experience involving goofy goats prancing around while doing poses. Her favorite part about being an instructor is seeing people who normally do not have any interest in yoga become so excited about getting outdoors and becoming active. It’s no wonder why she gained so much attention due to how personable she is and because of how enthusiastic she makes everyone feel when they’re attending her goat yoga sessions.
We have a relative newcomer Janet Esteves who runs “Yoga Goats Gals” out of Fitchburg Wisconsin after taking inspiration from other teachers such as Morse, Stoner and McCarthy above. She does regular popups throughout Wisconsin but focuses mainly on intimate training settings for beginners looking for guidance into doing this type of exercise with goats hopping about or trying different relaxing techniques away from city life stressors. Even though Esteves did not start teaching until 2018 just like every other instructor mentioned here she too believes that participating in goat yoga brings out smiles – something we could all use more of these days.
